Dr Elizabeth Baer
MBBS FRACGP
Dr Elizabeth Baer joined our practice in January 2014. She is a 1988 Graduate of the University of Queensland and has been working in General Practice for over 20 years. She has special interests in Sexual Health, Infectious Disease, HIV Management and PEP Emergency Treatment.
Dr Baer is an accredited S100 prescriber for people living with HIV and is accepting new patients who are HIV-positive. Other services provided include HIV RAPID Testing, comprehensive Sexual Health Assessments and Sex Workers Screening. Dr Baer is a Member of the Sexual Health Society of Queensland and Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM).

Wednesday: 8:30AM to 5:00PM | Thursday: 8:30AM to 4:30PM

Dr Christopher Pitt
MBBS FRACGP
Chris graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998. Before starting General Practice in 2004, he did a number of terms in specialty paediatrics (children’s medicine), including 6 months at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Mater Mothers Hospital. Unsurprisingly, Chris has a particular passion for helping children and families maintain good health! He particularly has a special interest in Autism and ADHD.
He also has postgraduate training in women’s health, sexual health and family planning, mental health, and has experience in skin cancer and cosmetic medicine. Chris sits on state and national committees for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is a regular examiner for the RACGP Fellowship Exam. He is a supervisor for GP Registrars and medical students, and he loves a good coffee.

Dr Justin Bissell
MBBS FRACGP
Due to his high demand, Dr Bissell is not taking new patients. As a friendly reminder, Dr Bissell is typically booked at least 1 week in advance, so please plan your next visit accordingly.

Dr Amy Weber
B-Med FRACGP
Dr Amy Weber graduated from medical school from the University of Newcastle in 2001. She worked for two years in the hospital system in NSW and Queensland, before entering general practice on the Sunshine Coast. She achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. Since then, she has worked on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane. Dr Weber’s areas of interest include palliative care and mental health.

Dr Christopher Hickey
MBBS (Registrar)
Dr Hickey Graduated from University of Queensland with MBBS in 2013. Completed Internship and further 2 years of residency at Redcliffe Hospital covering a number of specialties including General Surgery, Urology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation and General medicine. Worked for another 2 years as a medical registrar in The Prince Charles, Rockhampton Base, Caboolture and Redcliffe Hospitals.
Dr Hickey’s area of interest are in Preventative Health, Chronic Disease Management (particularly diabetes, heart and lung disease), Dermatology, Sports Medicine, Women’s and Men’s Health.
Hobbies & Interests outside of medicine: Touch Football, Cricket, Soccer, Rugby League, Music

Dr Leah Ahchay - Registrar
Dr Leah graduated from university of QLD with a pharmacy degree in 2012, and medical degree (MBBS) in 2017. Since then she has been a resident at Redcliffe hospital, completing terms in palliative care, gastroenterology, urology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, emergency and general medicine. She has also worked as a registrar at Brighton Campus in geriatric medicine.

Dr Lindsey Jones
Dr Lindsey Jones - Registrar
Dr Lindsey graduated from Sydney University Medical School with both a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Masters of Public Health in 2016. Since then she has worked across a variety of hospital and health services in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. This includes specialty terms in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine, and Oncology.
Dr Lindsey holds a Certificate of Emergency Medicine from the Royal Australian College of Emergency Medicine and is currently undertaking further post graduate training in Dermatology, Paediatrics, and Tropical Medicine.
Dr Lindsey is interested in a vast array of health and disease topics and has a focus on holistic wellbeing.
Consulting hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM.
